"Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every day. Beautiful views from balcony and private pool. It’s quiet and away from popular tourist traps. Had basic kitchen amenities so we were able to make breakfast and lunch. Everything was very clean and neat on arrival. The private pool was used every day and night, fantastic for a family with kids. Stelios and staff were so kind and very helpful. Parking available and a short drive to Rethymno. "The whole place smells like cigarettes, bathroom had what appeared to be black mold under the bathtub & there was hair on the floor from previous guests. All that being said the bed was really comfy & the area was close to all the fun restaurants but far enough away to be quiet"

"Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein Traum. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, dafür alles andere nicht so. Hier dürfte etwas mehr gemacht werden. Leider auch beim Pool. Mit sehr wenig könnte man da etwas wundervolles machen! Die Lage fanden wir super! Einfach nur Ruhe pur! Wir würden da wieder hin."

"A very charming small hotel. The hotel was an old olive oil producing village that fell into ruin. Each of the rooms has been renovated from small workers cottages to a charming standard. It is such a lovely, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is idyllic, the only criticism would be that I think it should be adults only. The ambience was somewhat spoilt when there was a couple with a baby who was crying by the pool and had the parents speak baby talk which ruined the quiet setting, the hotel is much better suited as an adults only due to its quiet nature. Food was excellent, breakfast choice is vast and evening meals were always excellent albeit on the pricier side, but we ate there every night. The hotel is a bit isolated away from the main tourist areas but that suited us down to the ground to be somewhere quiet. We would return. "

"Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay, the hosts were fabulous and nothing was too much bother considering we managed to livl ourselves out the first night after a long drive. The villa is spacious, clean and has everything you need it’s like home from home. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in. "
