the hotel is renovated and is clean and bright. Our room, with a comfy king size bed was comfortable, quiet, and dark. We had the best sleep! Breakfast was fine, but eggs would have been a plus. Not everyone enjoys biscuits and sausages, but thre is nothing wrong with bagels, waffles and cereals! A piece of fresh fruit would have been a plus, but now i am just mentioning extras. We would definitely return!

it is very old, there is all kind of smell in the room, carpet is terrible. it looks several decades old and dirty ,you don't even walk on it with your shoes. Around the building, parking lots, in front of the room is nasty, dirty. Also, area is dirty, run down. Hotel pictures on the adds look like fake, too much photo shop. all the good reviews are not believable after we saw the hotel.

The hotel has been renovated, but still has unfortunate deficiencies. The bed was terrible with squeaky springs for every minor movement. It squeaks with a slight movement of your arm, foot, anything. You can not get a good nights sleep with a squeaky bed. Many of the local cable stations did not work on the television. As a pet owner, it was nice to see the front yard area for pet use, but sadly the pet owners don't clean after their pets. The hotel needs to add more pet bag stations around the area. There are more cigarette dump stations than pet bag stations. For pet owners, the hotel is literally next door to a fire station. Think about that before staying with your pets. Overall, there are many other options in Amarillo that do better.

Checking in and out was convenient. Staff was less than professional in appearance. Room was clean but lacked attention to detail by houskeeping. Food splatter by microwave, dirt and hair accumulation in corners and dust galore on top of fridge. Bed was huge! Pillows were tiny and definitely needed more. Street noise was probably the biggest downfall. Lobby was decorated adorably, breakfast was sub-par but decent for price.
