Ferndale's Hideaway is a spacious and contemporary retreat located in the grounds of Ferndale Lodge, Ambleside.

The property boasts a stunning kitchen with all modern facilities, spacious lounge with large flat screen tv and modern electric fire, as well as a large bedroom with sumptuous king sized bed and an excellent ensuite with bathtub and shower.

The Space:
Located just off Lake Road, Ferndale's Hideaway is moments away from the hustle and bustle of Ambleside Village yet in a peaceful and quiet area, perfect to relax and unwind.

The property is a perfect couples retreat with spacious living and sleeping areas, plus a cosy courtyard for those summer evening refreshments or morning coffee.

Parking is provided via a permit which can be used in the adjacent car park as well as most other SLDC Car Parks in the Lake District.

Guest Access:
Guest have use of the whole property with its own private entrance.

The Neighborhood:
Located just moments away from the hustle and bustle of Ambleside village, Ferndale's Hideaway is the perfect place whether looking for a relaxing Lake District Break. Ambleside and its plethora of walks are available directly from the doorstep.

Getting Around:
We love the fact that many walks can be undertaken directly from the door and if you wish to travel further afield there is a regular bus service, 2 mins from the Apartment.

Interaction with Guests:
We Live locally - we are available at anytime and happy to offer any advice regarding how to make the best of your Lake District Stay. We are keen walkers and enjoy dining out in the many restaurants in the local area.
We operate a self check in service, which will be sent 2 days prior to arrival.

Perfect location
With so much within walking distance and hiking from the doorstep this is a well set up rental in a sweet location. A cozy base to return to after a wet day!

Great property, great location, would return again. Lovely modern decor, great kitchen and comfortable bed, all perfect. Wi-Fi was a bit dodgy but didn’t really impact as you don’t go to lakes to sit in all day, didn’t even mention to hosts but sure if we had something would have been done as we have had property from hosts before and very attentive. Parking permit was ok and got parked in adjacent carparkon two day but went to Buttermere on the Saturday and unable to get parked on return but no big hassle as space on road just around the corner. Great property and would recommend 100%. We have stayed in around 20 different properties over the last few years in the lakes and this one is definitely in top 3
