"Once again…. a wonderful, peaceful time! We brought our dog with us this time and he had a blast! Toured some wineries and just a short drive for some amazing food. Coffee on the porch and outside fires at night are the best. Already booked next year to come back with friends! "

"The wooded cliffside location overlooking the Shenandoah River was peaceful. The log cabin had a new bedroom/bath addition, wrap around decking and wood and gas fireplaces. The kitchen had all the required utensils. There were a lot of rules and instructions that could be considered helpful. If you're checking in late, bring coffee if you want it in the morning and be prepared to make the bed with the linens provided. A great place for a relaxing weekend or longer stay. "

"The cabin is a wonderful forest retreat from the grind of life. Everything was as described. We loved relaxing on the front porch with a cup of coffee and the deer and squirrels to keep us company. It was nice to disconnect from the world for a bit. The location gives the feeling of isolated but still close to civilization. The details of the cabin were really lovely. I can tell the owners love and care about this place. "

"Cabin was great, was a little concerned about the road in but it wasn’t a problem. Location to park and hikes good, luray caverns, James Madison home also worth seeing. 5 deer out the back window on Saturday. Thanks for the new deck and steps. 😊. Only suggestion would be we had salt and no pepper and no charcoal for the grill. Beds are old and we ended up using two but all in all a fun cabin. "

"We had an excellent 4-night stay at Rachelle and Don's cabin. They were good communicators and eager to please. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable with a modern vibe. We loved how quiet it was. The large elevated deck overlooking the woods was great for enjoying our morning coffee and having dinner and a drink. It's close to local hiking and not far from a nice small town and Shenandoah National Park, etc. We would definitely recommended this cabin (and we'll be back)."

"Heaven's Oasis was a dream! The private pool is what made the stay. We felt like we didn't have to do anything else as we had everything right on the property: pool, hot tub, fire pit, games, and direct river access. The house was also very clean and updated!"

"Location is perfect as we were staying to visit Luray caverns. House was bigger than expected and rooms were a decent size. Beds were also very comfortable. The walk to the river was easy and beautiful (we drove to the chairs). Being slightly ocd the inside of the house could use a deep cleaning, lots of dust! But overall we had the best time.and would stay here again! "

"Wonderful cabin in the woods. Very comfy for a family that needs 4 spacious bedrooms and lots of cooking and hang out space. Make sure you have a car with high clearance as the road up to the cabin off the main road is steep, ruddy and pitch black at night. Worth the drive. Would for sure return to this property."

"The farmhouse was charming. The host has done a great job of updating the rooms and bathrooms while still keeping the charm of an 1800s farm house. The location was perfect for visiting wineries, orchards and upscale restaurants in nearby Marshall. There were 6 of us and it never felt crowded. "
