"Convenient location with Starbucks a supermarket and many restaurants nearby staff were helpful beds where clean with white bedding in general cleanliness was good bathrooms were new unfortunately showers on upper floors were unusable due to poor water pressure kitchen was not adequate very small with no seating and poor condition Building was generally run down with flaking paint plaster falling off ceiling electrics were scary extension chords bare wires and taped up damaged chords "

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). "I booked this hostel because it was closest to where my son lives. It's in a lovely neighbourhood with loads to do in the evening and good transport links into the city and convenient for visoting my son too. My room was large and very clean, and was cleaned daily during my stay which I hadn't expected. The staff are really friendly and it was perfect!"

"The July was absolutely lovely. I have OCD and will only stay where the place feels clean. The bathroom was spotless, the bed and bedding was clean (and comfortable - I slept like a baby) The staff were super friendly and gave us some really lovely restaurants to go and try (we’re foodies!!) and any bits missing from the room, they sorted in less than 5 minutes after calling the front desk. I could literally have stayed for another two weeks there to be honest and I’m hoping to come back asap...
