We loved staying at B&B Milkhouse. It was the perfect location to walk to everything, and Eline was very helpful with recommendations and making sure the room was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam, the room had everything we could have asked for and it was so lovely to be right on the canal in one of the nicest areas!

Erik and Eline were fantastic hosts. The unit is quaint and beautifully decorated. Location is on the longest canal and very convenient to everything. When we return to Amsterdam, we will surely stay here again ♥️✈️

A real gem in the heart of Amsterdam. Close enough to all of the cities highlights, yet on a peaceful, quiet street so you are not disturbed. Eline is a fabulous host - she is so friendly and helpful. Every home comfort you can imagine, all complimentary.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Amsterdam

Eline is a perfect host. She welcomed us early on the day after King’s day. Her place is in a good location to many attractions. The home was very clean with a very comfortable bed and a large modern shower. An additional bonus was the snacks and drinks to take on our outings or enjoy when we ended our day. Thank you for making our first trip to Amsterdam wonderful.

The host Eline was very helpful with pre-visit suggestions and directions and takes pride in running a comfortable and clean establishment. She also provided a well stocked refrigerator with wine and beer and snacks at no additional charge. It’s also very close to public transportation shopping. We would certainly recommend this place to others. 😉

Wonderful stay in Amsterdam

Absolutely wonderful B&B in central Amsterdam canal location. Easy walk to museums and historic areas. Erik and Eline were exceptional hosts, who provided much help with suggestions for activities and restaurants. Room on smaller side, but had many small touches that made it very special. Erik even drove us to cruise port and carried our bags to cruise check-in after our stay. Highest recommendation.

Absolute best B&B

We stayed in Amsterdam for 3 nights before a cruise. The Milkhouse B&B was chosen based on the ratings we had seen. It did not disappoint. Eline is the hostess. She is limited to how many rooms she can host but she gives her full attention, not only to our comfort, but specifically to us. I have never had a better stay at a B&B. The location was walkable to many of the best sights in the city. Good restaurants, museums, shopping, canal trips, they are all right there.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Milkhouse and our host Eline. It was a very easy journey from Schipol (just a 30 minute bus ride & 10 minute walk). Eline greeted us & showed us around the beautiful Milkhouse. The bed is very very comfortable, the shower fabulous and all the amenities you could possibly want are available. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Staying at the Milkhouse means you are close to all the sights which are easily walkable to. An absolutely perfect stay & a wonderful experience.

Staying at the Milkhouse was like having your own residence in the middle of Amsterdam. You opened your door and you were looking at one of the canals. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Our hosts, Eline and Erik were remarkable. They could not have been nicer nor more hospitable. If anyone asked I would recommend the Milkhouse without any reservation and the next time we are in Amsterdam I will definitely want to stay at the Milkhouse again.

ElIne, the owner was incredibly good, giving us travel guidance before we arrived and providing us with lots of local advice about the best places to visit and eat. Breakfast was at a local cafe about 150 yards away and was good, bagels with omelette or BLT with coffee and juice ticked the boxes for me or many other bagel options for those with other tastes. The location of the property was fantastic by the canals with major attractions within 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes tram ride away. The Rijktmuseum, Van Gogh and Anne Frank well worth a visit but be sure to book in advance. ElIne recommended a brilliant steakhouse, Castell where we enjoyed 2 great meals. The Italian restaurant 50 metres away was good too for lighter meals. We were lucky to have a few sunny days for canal trips and a walk around Vondelpark. Bikes everywhere of course. A great place to stay to experience Amsterdam. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Not a place to spend the day in but we were here to explore the city. Super comfortable giant bed.

A fantastic stay in Amsterdam at the Milkhouse B&B. Perfect location and lovely room with everything we needed for a long weekend. The host, Eline, was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had what we needed and enjoyed ourselves. The space itself is thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable (especially the bed!) and there are little useful and thoughtful touches everywhere. We would stay here again and would highly recommend!

Loved this place, Location could not have been better. Ilene was on top of everything and a delightful person as well. A stocked fridge and snacks were just a couple of the of the extra touches she provided. Definitely recommend if you want to be in the heart of the city.

Awesome canal side location in Central Amsterdam

Fantastic location. Enormous bed and everything that you need. Mini bar was restocked every day and the hosts had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and cafes and places we just had to visit. Light switches once you had mastered the weird dimmers worked a treat. Thank you.
