Convenient location to Central Amsterdam rail station and downtown area. Not the best value for money, room wasn’t cleaned when we got back after a day out visiting the city. We had to call reception. Someone finally came at 6:30pm to clean the room.

View was nice from balcony and staff were friendly and helpful. However, check in was supposed to be at 3pm, did not receive our key until 15.50pm. Headed to room and realised they had given us a single room when we booked premier room with balcony. Rectified quickly but manager made us aware receptionist gave us somebody else’s room key. Was given complimentary breakfast due to inconvenience and 2 free drinks. Room was underwhelming and small, not set out conveniently. Dirty toilet brush and hair around toilet seat. Tear/rip in the top of the duvet cover. Light on balcony did not work. Electrics tripped in our room and lost all lights, however rectified quickly after going down to reception. Overall average stay, overpriced in my opinion.

Beautiful room on the 10/11 floor with great views of the city and within an easy walk of the old town, sights and a multitude of dining options. Only downside, we had to listen to the extremely loud music of the nightclub just above us on the 11 floor until 0300!! Only solution was a move to the 3rd floor at 2300 which we chose not to take and made do with ear plugs instead. Just a heads up when booking this pricy hotel!

Location very close to Central Station making it very accessible to get anywhere in the city and the airport. Room was office, perfect for a quick trip. There is coffee offered in the room and a cafe available downstairs. Option for housekeeping but opting out option is available.

It was very clean hotel, great staff, 24 hours help. Great roof restaurant, close to train station for about 300 meters. Before Double tree I booked another hotel (I will call it "Unlucky Incident" from now on) for same dates and after arrived to that "Unlucky Incident" I was shocked how it was different from pictures and dirty it was. Then I run back to Expedia and luckily I found one room left at Double tree close to midnight hours. I directly checked in double tree and left the "Unlucky incident". After a great welcome by Hilton staff I was amazed when I saw the room, its cleanness and the view. It was a bit more expensive than my "Unlucky Incident" but your peace, your hygiene and your security worth more than a slightly cheaper option. After Hilton my expectancy from hotels has risen up.

Room was overpriced for the very small size and fact that we had no view. Remote for tv did not work. Had two coffee pods only and coffee maker just produced water. Tried to get coffee from restaurant but the only way we could have one was by purchasing a buffet breakfast.
