Originally built as an Alaska Railroad Section House in the 50s, our home was moved to the desirable hillside neighborhood in the mid-60s. Lovingly restored with industrial touches to highlight it's history, such as steel beams in the great room and original copper pipes (now a footrest at the concrete counter).

Situated in a desirable and quiet hillside neighborhood, you will be close to everything you'll need to stay comfortably while enjoying the best of Anchorage. Plenty of hiking/biking trails out your front door, nearby restaurants and shops, and downtown Anchorage 15 minutes away.

Lots of windows and light throughout, and room darkening shades when the famous midnight sun won't set but your eyes need to!

After a day of the great outdoors, enjoy the large great room with spacious center island/concrete countertop, wet bar and coffee station, 75" smartTV and wood burning fireplace. Or retire to the separate media room with 55" smartTV for quiet time or kids' space.

There's plenty of room for the whole family or group to share stories of your adventures. The main level also includes a half bath, full laundry room, desk/work station and full dining room. Caught that fish or game? Utility room with extra fridge/freezer! Garage, long driveway and fenced yard.

Upstairs features master bedroom with king bed, bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and double shower. Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed, share a full bathroom with tub/shower supplied with plenty of linens and soaps/shampoos for your convenience.

Great House In Anchorage
House is located in quiet neighborhood within 20 minutes of the airport and downtown. House had all the amenities and was very comfortable with lots of natural light. I would definitely rent again.
