The only issue is there are no black at curtains or curtains on the higher window, which makes it very tough to sleep in Alaska when the sun is up for 24 hours.

Cozy Studio Near Town
We really enjoyed this studio rental with great location. It was easy walk to the town, grocery, and brewery/restaurants and an easy drive to the Amtrak’s Resort. Parking was easy, and we really enjoyed the hot tub and the great views.

The room was very nice. Great location. Hot tub was very relaxing after hiking. The early checkout requirement of 10:00 am was challenging. Normal checkout time is 11:00 am for most rooms.

This was a wonderful get-away! A quiet, cozy and private apartment with a hot tub on deck is a very nice amenity. A cute kitchenette allows for a more homey atmosphere. We loved our stay here.

This 'chalet', as my husband called it was just the perfect place to stay for our daughter's wedding. It was near the venue and near restaurants as well. Perfect location! Would definitely recommend!

The property is an addition on the owners house. Although you share the same building I could not hear them at all. The hot tub was clean and private. Only difficulty was the stairs and hand rail to the apartment.

The place was clean. Perfect setup for a couple. We enjoyed our stay. Great location! My only suggestions for improvement would be a stovetop burner or small toaster oven for cooking. The window could also use an additional covering if you care to sleep in at all.

Nice and clean but no response to concerns
The location was beautiful and everything was clean. Check in was on the late side and check out was on the early side. I contacted the manager 2 days before our stay with a question and didn't get a response, only an automated email that didn't address my question. There was excessive signage in apartment regarding rules that made it feel a bit unwelcoming. The hot tub was perfect, clean and had a beautiful view. The stay was nice but felt a bit overpriced, especially with the lack of responsiveness to our needs.

Gorgeous, chilly, and beautiful!
So glad we could spend our honeymoon in Girdwood. The property had everything we needed to live in luxury while enjoying trails, snow and awesome food. Fyi: be sure to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the driveway if you're coming during the frozen months (we arrived April 1st)

The view
This was a great last minute get away. The view was amazing and it was close to the shops and restaurants we visited. The hot tub wasn’t as private as I expected but it was nice to unwind with the view. The only thing I would suggest is blinds for the upper windows, the morning light was pretty bright.

Simple and perfect lodging. Only downsides: 1) bathroom is tiny, and 2) only cooking option is microwave. It was perfect for 2 nights, walking distance to "downtown". The hot tub setting is superb!

You truly couldn't ask for much more than this. The listing is exactly as it appears online as it is in person and everything about the process of booking, checking in and out, was very convenient. Perfect, private couple's get away with the most incredible views from the bed and hot tub. What an absolutely incredible place to call (temporary) home while enjoying all the beauty Girdwood has to offer. It was a pleasure to stay at this property.

A fantastic break from the city. The back porch and sauna quiet and felt private and was exactly what we needed. The check in process seemed delayed in communication with the property manager was not as straightforward as it could have been. Overall I would totally stay here again.
