Spacious apartment with balcony and elevator with mountain views

The apartment is located in a newly built house (with elevator) in the 2nd Floor overlooking the Alps. Everything is built barrier-free, so that also guests with a slight disability get along well (but not suitable for Rullstuhlfahrer). The place is located between Lake Starnberg and Ammersee. Also public with S-Bahn, regional train and bus (bus stop
opposite the street) Machtlfing is easily accessible. Our area (5 lakes) is well visited by hikers and cyclists.
Nordic walking routes are signposted.
The apartment is equipped with high quality TV, WiFi, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is integrated in the 40 m² large living room. The apartment itself has 94 m². They are high rooms with bevels. The underfloor heating ensures balanced heat everywhere. A ventilation system ensures constant temperatures in winter and summer.

The house has a Wasserentkalkungsanlage installed, which provides soft water, which is also felt when showering and bathing. The bathroom is equipped with bath and shower without barrier as well as a large sink, mirror and toilet. The second. Badraum has a 2. WC, large sink with mirror and a washing machine with clothes dryer.
The kitchen has a fridge, stove, dishwasher, extra sink, microwave, egg cooker, filter coffee machine and
Water heater. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils that make self-catering possible.
The apartment has a parking space in the yard.
The 6-meter-long balcony faces south-east, so that the morning sun invites you to have breakfast on the balcony.
In the area there are many attractions. Munich is also within easy reach in 30 - 40 minutes. In summer, the nearby lakes invite you to go swimming or sailing.

What a find...picture perfect place!
I can only second all the other positive reviews - this spacious apartment is truly wonderful, conveniently located between Tutzing and Herrsching in a tiny Bavarian village. I have never stayed at a cleaner VRBO; the owners thought of everything to make the apartment and our stay special. They also provided helpful additional information on the area, were super easy to reach and responded quickly to questions. Based on other reviews, we decided to rent a car but also made use of the 9 Euro Ticket and commuted by bus and train into Munich on a regular basis (bus stop in front of the house). It was very nice not having to deal with traffic and parking in Munich!! All in all - a great stay in a scenic area and in a fantastic apartment. We hope to return soon.

Stunning spot between Munich and the Alps
This apartment was a real find. Loads of space and everything was of the utmost quality. There are plenty of beautiful country walks from the apartment and you can travel to the most beautiful castles, lakes and mountains by car. Maria was extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We really appreciated the special touches: presents for the children, Christmas decorations. Danke vielmals Maria. Our opinion
Maria and Konrad are a very nice couple who are very helpful even with our language difficulties. The property itself is very nice and comfortable with all the required equipment. The location would not suit everyone as the village is a bit out of the way with no shops and only one bar/restaurant. The only thing that bothered us was, after paying 80 Euros cleaning fee, you are required to strip the linen from your beds and leave it by the washing machine when you leave.

Wunderbar! - Great place, Great space, Very welcoming
My family very much enjoyed our week in Machtlfing. The village is very easy to get to with a car and is in the heart of a farming community - so expect to hear cows and tractors! - but otherwise it is tranquil and beautiful setting. Bus stops are just outside the house so it would probably be easy to explore by bus and link to trains to travel around the area by public transport. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and modern in layout and fittings and provided ideal accommodation for our family of four. Our stay was during the heat-wave so air conditioning (which we expected from the property listing but was absent) would have improved our comfort, though Maria quickly provided fans to give some cooling of the rooms. The overhang design of the apartment roof and window blinds also provide some shade. Parking in the yard was straightforward and access to the apartment always easy with roomy stairs and a lift. The balcony was a lovely place to relax in the evening and also useful to dry laundry. With a car we found it easy to travel northwards to Munich and southwards into the Alps, as well as short visits to the beautiful lakes and villages within easy reach of the property. Andechs Monastery and Beer garden were a lovely place to visit in the evening. Food shopping was no problem with plenty of choice in Lidl in Tutzing and supermarkets and a variety of shops in more distant towns. Marie provided a warm welcome and farewell and showed a genuine interest and care in ensuring we enjoyed our stay. For us it added up to the perfect holiday property providing a chance to explore an area during the day and evening and all you need 'at home' to relax and refresh overnight.

Schöner Urlaub in Machtlfing
Der Urlaub in Machtlfing hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen und die Gastgeberin war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war wirklich schön, sauber und aufgeräumt. Die Ausstattung war super, aber einen Smart-TV gab es leider nicht. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, allerdings ist man meist auf ein Auto angewiesen.

Die Wohnung ist hochwertig ausgestattet, war sehr sauber und gut vorbereitet. Sie ist sehr groß und komfortabel. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Absolute Empfehlung! Ein guter Startpunkt, wenn man die Gegend insgesamt erkunden will: mit dem Auto bis Herrsching(Ammersee) oder Tutzing (Starnbergersee), dann in die Bahn, um nach München oder zu den Bergen zu kommen.

Un accueil chaleureux pour un appartement très agréable.
Nous avons passé une bonne semaine dans cette belle région des 5 lacs. Pas trop loin de Munich, pour visiter et faire des musées, et en campagne pour faire des balades, ou profiter des lacs, cet appartement est bien situé. Il est très confortable et très bien équipé. Le seul petit bémol est la connexion internet qui a fonctionné de facon aléatoire pendant tout le séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par des hôtes sympathiques et a l'écoute. Nous recommandons ce logement!

Schönes Feriendomizil kurz vor Andechs
Wir können nur Wiederholen was die Gäste vor uns bewertet haben, es passt alles, die Wohnung ist perfekt, Sauber, leise, gut eingerichtet, durch das entkalkte Wasser schmeckte der Kaffee bzw. der Tee noch besser, und der Fahrstuhl einfach genial.... Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, Hilfsbereit und haben uns sehr gute Vorschläge für unsere Ausflüge gegeben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, aber dann länger als eine Woche.

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Für uns war die Lage der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für all unsere Ausflüge. Egal ob mit dem Rad, zu Fuß oder per Bahn nach München. Vielen Dank für die super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Besonders schön war die Barrierefreiheit der Wohnung, was sehr gut wir für ältere in ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkte Personen ist. Es war alles sehr sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und haben uns gut mit Ausflugstipps beraten.

Osterferien am Ammersee
Wir waren vom 30.03.-06.04. in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung. Das Gastgeberpaar war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Kleine Willkommmensgrüsse waren auch für uns da. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut geschnitten. Die Einrichtung liess ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen, alles modern und und sehr gepflegt. Es gab auch einen Aufzug im Treppenhaus und ein großer Balkon mit Blick auf die schöne Natur. Wir vier ( auch unsere Teenager-Kinder!) haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.
