"Great for families, lots of outdoor activities, but be prepared it is more like “glamping” in a cute cabin rather than staying at an upscale resort. It’s kind of like adult summer camp I guess. Great views, beautiful area, friendly staff, main outdoor pool is lovely, and you are on the lake. No restaurant or room service on site. We will be returning maybe 1-2x a year for a short stay. Very dog friendly so we may bring our dog next time. Conroe is a great little place with good seafood....
