"Lovely place. We stayed with our small dog for a couple of nights. Facilities are amazing, golf, spa, swimming, gym, etc. Set in beautiful, peaceful grounds with easy access to Douglas (20 min drive) We had a 3 course meal in one of the restaurants and not only was the food amazing and very reasonably priced for the quality but it really felt like they went the extra mile... and were happy to. We went off season and managed to use the pool, which is an unusual design and only 6 people allowed in the pool at same time so not sure how useful in the summer. "Massive thanks to the staff. Check in was between 2PM and 6.30 PM, which wasn’t convenient for me, so they gave me a security code to get in the front door, and left my door key in an envelope inside so I could arrive when I was ready. Also looked after my luggage while I was out for the afternoon. Owner is really helpful with guides as to where to go, and how to get there. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Hotel exceeded expectations of a budget hotel, quiet room, comfortable bed, en-suite room...
