"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"

"This was a clean and quaint place to stay. Dog friendly and roomy. We loved the dog run that let the pooches potty behind a fence for safety. We pray the property was not harmed by the flood as that area seems to be a target for a lot of the flooding we see on the news days after we stayed. Praying for the community and this little INN. "I like the location and the beautiful woods outside on the back balcony. However, the decor and furniture look like it came from a museum the 80s. Also, I was unlucky enough to be on the lower unit of the two and had very noisy neighbors, which is not too good with a wooden floor and also a connecting door that I had to put cushions up against deaden their noise. This is not the hotels fault I understand that, but beware if you get a unit that’s on the lower floor of the villas. "
