"The farm is in a secluded location with just the usual noise you d expect being on a working farm. "Overall, the hotel was great. Very busy dining, but no problem with obtaining food on first night. However, on second night it took one & a half hours to get food (only starters ordered). The main problem was communication. No-one told us that they had a big party in & it would take a considerable time to get our order. Even after an hour, when I went to see where our food was, the issue was not handled very well. The kitchen & front of house need to communicate better."

"A picturesque inn, in a beautiful area. Staff made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. Throughout our stay, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy room with spacious bathroom. Meals were excellent. Chefs are first class and every meal cooked to perfection. Quality food. A hearty breakfast provided a great start to our days. Even the dog got a sausage. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Bay Horse Inn. "

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...
