Perfect Location
The porpertys location is perfect. The beach is a short walk with many beach access roads on the way. We usually went through the beach access roads because it was always quiet with very few people. Convenience store and ice cream shops about 5 minutes away. The pool was clean and warm. They came and cleaned it twice. Only issue we had was on the last day one of the alarms on the window came off and kept beeping. We notified the property management and it wasnt a big deal. Beds were comfortable and clean. They had dish washer pods, laundry detergent and dish soap available. Plenty of beach toys and towels at the property. Quiet neighborhood and super friendly neighbors. Property is exactly as described. Couch also pulls out into a bed. There is an outdoor shower and a grill as well. A/c worked perfect, you can have it as cold as you like in there. Laundry machines are pretty new and work like a charm. 10/10 on this place and will definitely be coming back!

Rest ashore in Paradise
We loved our cottage and had the best holidays ever. Everything was perfect, the cottage had everything we needed, and more. Very confortable beds, linings, towels, beach towels, beach trolley, chairs, umbrella; you name it. It was a real haven. I would recommend it to anybody who wishes a relaxed-full, and joyful holiday. The pool was the perfect size, plus heated and the garden was all properly groomed, the outdoor shower with hot water was a real treat.

Location is great. Property wasn’t walked through before visit. Excess leaves on entire property covered pool each day/needed cleaned. All appliances either no time displayed or flashing from power outage prior week. Dryer not working. Was offers laundry service during specific time frame (weren’t home during time) also pay for certain on site amenities. cable tv was not working technician came to install. Remote direction in welcome binder listed a remote we didn’t have on property. For a short stay it would have been nice to have things as stated and not deal with people in and out of the house fixing things.

Awesome place and location. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would stay there again. My only negative would be the alarm on back door, ( yes I do understand the reason, children safety is # 1), it was just 2 adults, did not want to push button everytime i went yo the pool. Love the pool, swam everyday!

Family vacation time like it should be done.
Well managed home with all the amenities you need to make your stay feel like you are right at home. Kitchen had an abundance of cooking bowls, platters, dishes, utensils etc. It also has BBQ grill and cooking tools. Plenty of good quality hotel type towels with no random stains. 6 good size beach towels. I slept better in their bed vs the one I have at home. Home was decorated beautiful and went with the year the house was built. It also came with a beach cart, couple beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. Garage had plenty of space for your bike rentals. My favorite place was the backyard. Very private with no visibility through the fence. I highly recommend taking a shower outside. It has an enclosure with hot and cold water. Great for rinsing off after the beach. HVAC was cold. Fridge ran well and use common sense, fill it up so it cools faster. Washing machine was a good quality Maytag and dryer quickly dried the clothes. Since the home was built in 1949, don’t expect perfection. It has normal wear and tear. Honestly, if you didn’t like this house, you probably wouldn’t like anywhere you stay. I highly recommend staying here and also renting other properties from AMI Accommodations. They also supplied several days worth of dish soap, TP, one roll paper towel, dish sponge, couple trash bags, 2 dish washer tablets, hotel sized shampoo/conditioner, lotion, and hand soap. And this impressed me the most, all matching white plastic hangers in both closets, about 40.

A nice walk to everything!
A simple, clean property with all the amenities you need! Straightforward listing with everything as promised. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what felt like home. A quick walk to shopping, restaurants and Bean Point beach (a quiet, neighborhood beach). They made it easy to hunker down, stay, and simply unwind!

It was nice very clean love the location. The pool was nice for a dip. I would check the air conditioner. It sounded like there was something wrong with it. It did work. Just a heads up. Nice to have plenty of towels. Could use new beach chairs. Love the decor.

It was perfect for entertaining my daughter 13 and my son 11. The pool in the backyard couldn't have been any better. The plants and trees around the place are amazing. Short walk to the beach so you don't have to worry about try to park some place because the one down fall of AMI. But I'm sure I'll be back some day.

Cute little home on Anna Maria Island
Loved how quiet the north end of the island is. We walked 2 minutes to eat at the Rod N Reel. It's also a short walk to Bean Point where the water and beach is picture perfect! The bikes worked well to sight see the island. We also liked having our own private pool 😎 The alarm to get out the back door was the only downer. You really have to go quick and if your arms are full you're probably going to set it off. I understand and appreciate the safety aspect though.

Comfortable stay except….
The house n location excellent. The one thing that ruin almost half of my vaca the alarm on back door to the pool. It only gives u a few seconds n annoying. I understand is for safety but I went to relax n the fact that I had to think to open the door n what to take one thing at a time drove me insane. Hardly use the patio. Other than that it was perfect n super close to beach. FYI take lots of mosquito n bite spray/lotion 🤦🏼‍♀️

Small oasis in paradise
The property is close and convenient to everything on a island. It was cleaned and organized when we came there. The beach cart was very useful and bicycles added to fun ride around neighborhood. There was no issue to reach the owner. The owner was very attentive to our needs and made sure that everything is alright. The high lights of our trip were beautiful, well maintained pool with outside shower, gorgeous sunsets, beach with white sand, boat ride and jet skies. :) Will love to go back there again!!

Property description was very accurate. Loved the location on the island, very close to rod and reel pier and bean point (each had great fishing!). Was also nice to be walking distance to the city of Anna Maria...cute shops and restaurants. Beautiful sunset dinner at Sandbar final night!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rest Ashore! The location was just where we wanted to be. The house was perfect and the pool was an added bonus. We also appreciated the outside shower for a quick rinse from being on the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were great!! We love Anna Maria and this house is a gem!

quiet getaway
Cottage was just as expected from VRBO ad. Attractively decorated-beachy but not overdone. Great layout. Charming, quiet and relaxing cottage. Loved the upper deck for am coffee and evening relaxation. Entertained by 3 beautiful parrots across the street. A great home base to do a lot or just relax. Excellent for biking and walking. Close to piers and paths to beach. A problem was the STRONG scent of perfumy (synthetic/chemical) laundry detergent. Had a cough the entire visit am and pm due to allergies. When I unpacked upon returning the contents of my suitcase smelled of the detergent. Would still recommend this property.
