Annapolis Coastal Gem w/ Hot Tub, Dock, Close to Everything & Sleeps 5

Enjoy the ultimate Annapolis experience! Make yourself at home in this spacious coastal getaway: a ~2000 s/f apartment in the lower level of an estate home with its own separate entrance, situated on a 3-acre, lush waterfront property and private dock that is close to everything in Annapolis! We prioritize our guests' comfort and peace of mind: bed linens, blankets, throws and towels are freshly laundered prior to your arrival.

This comfortable coastal gem is the perfect place to come home to after a busy day exploring historic downtown Annapolis, spending time with your Naval Academy loved one, attending a Navy game, the Annapolis boat show, special events, visiting with family, or enjoying nearby attractions. It is a ~7 min. drive to downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy. Navy Stadium, Route 50, shopping, restaurants, supermarkets, and more are only ~5 min. away by car, as is Anne Arundel Medical Center. Guests have free on-property parking for up to 3 cars.

Our beautiful guest residence sleeps up to 5 comfortably, with 3 sleeping areas that are privately situated, with lots of amenities and opportunities for fun and relaxation. The 2000 s/f space comprises a large main area, custom bar, gym, and a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, and a laundry area. Guests have their own wifi and Sonos audio system. Outside, guests have exclusive use of the expansive patio overlooking 3 acres of towering trees with peekaboo waterfront views down to the private dock. The patio is complete with a hot tub, fire pit, dining + high top tables and a Weber grill. Cornhole is always set up on the lawn.

Guests are invited to take a ~5 min. walk down the nature trail - a winding gravel path through the trees to the hosts' private dock, just off the Severn River which flows past the Naval Academy and into the Chesapeake Bay. Hosts provide 2 kayaks and a paddleboard to have fun on the water. Guests may bring their own gear for catch & release fishing off the dock. A teak table w/ seating is set up on the dock for guests to relax and enjoy tranquil water views, boats, and marine life. You may even get to meet our local Blue Heron who likes to spend time on the cove!

The main area of the residence offers guests a spacious lounging area with a large screen TV, gas fireplace, and half bath. The large new sectional sofa has a comfortable pull-out double bed w/ memory foam mattress, and there is plenty of seating. Serve up happy hour in the stunning custom bar area with a pool table, 2 TVs, counter fridge, and icemaker (the bar is BYO only). Hit the separate gym room for a workout, meditation, or yoga. The gym is equipped with a Peloton, Universal Gym, rowing machine, treadmill, free weights, yoga mats and a TV. Guests have use of a washer and dryer located in the utility room, with complimentary laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and stain remover.

Off the main room of the residence, you enter the one-bedroom apartment. It has a separate bedroom (Queen bed) w/ a TV. The apt. also offers a well-equpped full kitchen with basic condiments, spices, coffee/tea, napkins, paper towels, and more. The cozy lounge area with a sofa (that pulls out into a bed) has a second TV and full bathroom w/ a rain shower head. Two spacious closets in the bedroom and another in the lounge area provide ample storage.

A few steps up the stairs outside the residence is a large patio overlooking acres of beautiful property. The patio has plenty of lounging/dining furniture, where guests can enjoy morning coffee, drinks, and dining surrounded by a gorgeous green vista with peekaboo water views. Kick back and soak in the large custom gunite hot tub. Gather around the fire pit under the twinkling evening stars. In the mood for a cookout? Have at it with the Weber grill. Ramble down the tree-lined path to the dock, where you can relax, kayak, and paddleboard. Play a game of Cornhole on the lawn. There is so much to do when you're not out and exploring historic Annapolis!

In addition to the residence's high speed Wi-Fi access and built-in Sonos sound system throughout the residence, all 6 TVs have a Roku Streaming 4K device, allowing guests to view their favorites.

The custom bar is equipped with a blender, counter fridge, ice machine, large sink, and bar tools, as well as assorted glassware. BYO your own liquors, beer, and mixers (not provided).

The apartment galley kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, baking/roasting dishes, cooking tools, indoor/outdoor dishes & glassware, as well as utensils, serving pieces, pantry/cooking essentials, and other convenient items.

Make delicious morning joe in the pour over coffeee machine. Hosts provide coffee beans and a grinder, as well as ground coffee, if preferable.

All bed linens, pillows and blankets (+ extra), a set of bath towels (+ extra) and a beach towel are provided for guests.

Hosts provide a soft and hard cooler for guest use during their stay to keep their beverages cold when spending time on the patio.

Outdoor seating areas all have a sun umbrella that is easy to open and close. Hosts provide grilling tools, mits, and propane for the grill.

Teak chairs and a side table are set up at the dock, along with 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards, for guest use.

There is complimentary laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. Kitchen essential are provided, including basic + spices, hot sauces and condiments.
