Chalet Cuckoo is a raccard (barn on stilts) constructed on a masonry base. Inside the raccard is a wood panelled double bedroom (160 cms bed) with a wardrobe, chair and heater - very romantic. In addition there is a folding bed, suitable for someone up to 1.7 meters or 80 kg
The masonry base encloses: a panelled wall sitting area with a desk, a double sofa bed, two armchairs, TV/DVD, log burning stove and shelved cupboard. A dining area suitable for up to 6, consisting of a cushioned corner bench, table and 3 chairs. A kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, two ring hob, oven/grill, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer. A shower room with toilet, basin, washing machine, drying rack and iron. The sitting area, dining area and kitchen are open plan and the shower is a separate room. All rooms in the masonry base have underfloor heating and WiFi access.
There is a terrace and balcony. Access is down steps, parking is available to the top of the steps.

The chalet has a view of the mountains above the resort of Grimentz and Zinal.

The Francois-Xavier Bagnoud Observatory is worth a visit at all times of the year, its associated Planets Trails should be walked in summer. The Moiry Dam can be reached by public transport or car in the summer. Paragliding - tandem for a trial and on your own for the more experienced - is possible all the year.

Skiing/snowboarding at St Luc/Chandolin and Zinal/Grimentz is ten minutes away by car. Lower down the valley one can ski/snowboard at Vercorin, useful when it is snowing. Other winter activites include hiking, skating, sledging and various indoor activities including swimming, climbing, escape room, trail running, gyms and an indoor park with an adventure park, Ninja Warriors, trampolines (big), battle beams, a playcorner for over 18 months, bar and cafe; exclusive hire is available for parties eg birthdays.

In summer many activities and public transport within the Val d'Anniviers are free with the Anniviers Libertee pass. For those who enjoy walking just exit the chalet and the mountains are yours. Lake Appitettaz (2 hours walk from Zinal) for a picnic or Hotel Weisshorn for a meal or stay the night (2 hours walk from the top of the St Luc Funicular or 3 hours from the chalet). For the family Foxtrail Dahn sounds amusing.

Other summer activities activities on offer are biking, climbing including via ferratas, mountain carting/scootering, fishing, petanique (bowls), mini-golf and bungee jumping.
