Chez Daniel was a wonderful stay in Antigua. It's a bit outside the center of town, which made it a good enclave outside the hustle and bustle. The team went out of their way to make my stay special; I did the overnight volcano hike and they allowed me to keep my car parked in the lot for safety. Highly recommend for a visit to Antigua!

Great service! Very friendly and professional. The room was clean and surprisingly big. The street is quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast/coffee were great. Next door to a convenience store and just a few blocks from a main road. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Antigua for the first time!

Walkable to every attraction and yet quiet enough to get good night sleep Fantastic breakfast every morning Fully equipped kitchen with stove and fridge in common space . Chez Daniel is your home away from home. The team makes it an wmeffort to make sure you are fully accommodated and taken care of. The facilities are extremely picturesque, on a quite corner of La Antigua. Walking distance from everywhere! Veronica was very easy to communicate with and gave me a very insightful and much needed overview of the layout of the city and it's landmarks. Props to her and the team to accommodate breakfast, check in and check out times! If you have the pleasure of Daniel himself, please do yourself a favor and spare some time to converse. Very interesting individual and gives you a great perspective on why La Antigua is so popular with foreigners. Make sure you ask him about his Photography. Overall, I loved my time at La Antigua, but the accomodations Chez Daniel provides I think overcast any other Bread and Breakfast in town. Thanks all!

I had a wonderful stay at Chez Daniel! The room was clean and spacious, and beautifully decorated and furnished with Mayan artisan-woven bedding and gorgeous photos. The staff there were very responsive over WhatsApp when I inquired about shuttles and tours. The breakfast included is delicious - fresh, ripe fruits and warm croissants and baguette. There were two days where I got up very early in the morning for tours, and they offered to make me a breakfast to-go - which was delicious and perfect snacks while on my tour for the day. All in all, Chez Daniel was great. Well priced, beautiful clean rooms, great service.

Great place to stay in Antigua!
We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. The communication and assistance provided by the manager was really helpful, our room was very comfortable with an amazing volcano view to greet us every morning, and having use of the clean kitchen was great. Each room also had amazing photography taken by the owner on the walls. The manager was also very accommodative of us when we wanted to leave a bag there while we went on an overnight hike. The only point I could add for improvement was the breakfast which, while nicely presented, for us, wasn’t sufficient. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much in this immaculately clean and well located guesthouse.

Absolutely loved the staff, the owner and the breakfast!! The views from the rooftop were beautiful and the location allowed for easy parking of a rental vehicle. My only suggestion would be to have a fan in the rooms to circulate the air as there is no air conditioning and on hot/humid days it is very stuffy in the rooms and gets hot at night. The staff is amazing here and very accommodating. The location is not really central so you do have to call for a taxi or drive everywhere unless you enjoy the longer walks. Overall we still highly recommend!
