"what a find clean and tidy inside a bit dated but nothing to worry about. Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. The site could do alot more perhaps a bit if entertainment etc and maybe a møre better takeaway although this didn’t stop is having a good holiday."

"We were the only people in this chateau which was nice but kind of weird. They just reopened we were told. I liked my room; the mattress was very comfortable and the fabric on the walls was very elegant. It was a little tight with the queen bed but it was fine. The bathroom was fine apart from the 1/2 circle shower which I continuously banged into while showering. Other than that it was fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing around this place; in the middle of nowhere. "

"Hotel is really quaint and done within several very old buildings - as best as possible. Decent accommodations, with the givens of walking up and down numerous stairs, dark hallways, etc. Personnel there ranges from: exceptionally sweet young woman - who carried our heavy suitcases up two steep stairs (no elevator) - to a very unfriendly male. Requests like - making a call on our behalf to a beauty salon - were met with dismay (by the male). The breakfast area could be easily mistaken for a...

"The reception was outstanding. We arrived early and were made to feel most welcome. The room is large, modern and lovely. Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."

"We first stayed at this hotel in 1986 and gave re-visited several times since. The location is fantastic right in the centre and beside the public car park and lift up to the chateau. The hotel has been renovated and extended over the years and is now even has a roof terrace for chilling out in after a days touring/cycling. The owners have changed over the years and the current owners, Romain & Romain, are wonderful friendly hosts, as are the rest of the hotel staff, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. "
