"Great location very cute. No closet space to hang clothes but super cute! There’s lots of stairs which was tough for my 79 year old mother and we had mosquitoes inside the house but host responded and dropped off mosquito repelent. A little difficult to find but overall great location "

"Nice room in an old converted building. Room is very nice except is on upper floor without lift. The owner is very nice, made a pot of tea for me every afternoon. Neighborhood is so so, a lot of renovation going on, with a tatoo studio very near by, a lot of people with tattoo hanging around. But the location is excellent, very near the old town center. It was a little hard to find, the only sign is on this plain looking door with very small words by the street number."

"This is one of the most beautiful comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in and we have been throughout Europe on many trips! The staff were lovely, the room spectacular, breakfasts delicious and overall an amazing experience within which to enjoy Antwerp. The staff we met were exceptional - friendly, helpful and so welcoming. And located in a quiet neighborhood, easy steps from old Antwerp, and lots of restaurants. Wonderful stay!"

"Nice and spacious room in central location close to the historic part of town. Coffee machine in the room didn't work, friendly staff tried fixing it without success but gave me a coffee from the restaurant. I was informed parking is charged per day however I was charged for 2 nights (and 2 days) while I arrived in the evening and left early morning. "

"It’s a basic hotel, the room is very basic and the towels are on the small/thin side but it was clean, good shower, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to the train station and easy to walk everywhere. For a budget accommodation it was fine and I would stay at it again "

"Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....
