The shuttle bus took us into vernazza each morning and brought us back early each evening (taxi available after approx 7 pm if you miss the last shuttle). Julia was very responsive to communications. "Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. The restaurants, shops, and more expansive space provides for a less touristy place to stay. We loved every minute! Grazie mille Margherita!!"

"The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was never going to be 5 star luxury but it had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, good bathroom. The location was excellent. Up a steep hill but let’s face it you’re not going to visit this area if you don’t expect to do a bit of climbing!! Great view. Excellent host, answered any questions immediately. Definitely recommend. Had a fantastic stay!"
