"This property is very comfortable and has all the conveniences you would need . Well equipped . I have to say we did not find it walkable to the village of Gordes and we do a lot of walking. Its not far but it requires walking on the road close to traffic with lots of blind curves and fast drivers. Its a short drive but be aware that it costs 8eu every time you park there. The best places to park are the several parking lots at the top of the hill in the village."

"If you are looking for a get-away from it all, Meir’s beautiful home on Montjustin is your place! The town is tiny - just a few residents - and you need to drive to nearby Cereste or Reillane (or longer drive to Manosque) for supplies, but once you’re stocked up, this very French and roomy home with a pool, petanque, yard, and more is the perfect spot. We loved making it our home for a week and hope to come again. One word of caution: lots of steps and hard surfaces - fine for us but wondered...

"Good news: the property and surrounding setting is beautiful. Your accommodation is a small apartment rather than a hotel room. The bedroom is separate. If, like us, you wanted to visit several spots in western Provence without changing rooms, this did serve us well. But be aware that everyplace from Aix-en-Provence to Avignon is 30 to 50 km away. "Definitely rustic! There is no air conditioning, so on days with little breeze you will want to close the shutters on the sunny side and be in the pool. There are two buildings separated by a covered patio, so plenty of privacy for couples. Our family of 9 was not at all crowded. The property is far enough from town that cell service was spotty at best. The only issue we faced was the internet was out (animal damage to the line!) and it took several days for the "cable guy" to get there....

"The property has everything you will need. For myself personally although dogs are welcome on looking houses have dogs which when let out did bark quite a bit which prevented letting our dog out for periods of time. The family are very welcoming and the father spoke very good English."

"We stayed with our children. Mme Mangeot was very Kind and helpful. She made a lot of suggestions as to where to visit after we told us what our interests were. It feels very much in the country (birds singing, quiet) although it was about .5-1 hour from most of the places we wanted to visit. The drives to those places were also interesting and full of stops at local places (Saigon Village nearby is beautiful) so it didn’t feel too out of the way. We would definitely come again!"

"After being in some other congested, urban areas of France it was a really nice break to stay in a hotel on the edge of town, with a nice river flowing by and lots of greenery. It took about 30 minutes to walk into the central part of town, most of which was along the river on a quiet road. "

I wish I could have stayed a week!

"Provence in October is spectacular and a stay at this property is the cherry on top! It was off season so staff attention was present at every turn. Unfortunately we were there only two nights. My wife and I are planning on staying there during lavender season next year. It has everything you need, Michelin rated restaurant, professional bike equipment, spa, two pools . I could go on an on. Can't wait to return. "

Exceptional, luxurious resort?

"Whatever your expectations for a five star luxury hotel, this property exceeded them. We have never been treated so personally, so warmly, and so professionally. From the minute, we arrived by car, they expected us, handled the check-in, and moved us to the front desk, where we were welcomed personally. Our rooms and all of the many restaurants, spa experiences, and views were exceptional. Above all, the concierge service was fantastic from advising us before our stay, during our stay, to offering us navigation For our departure. I would highly recommend this property or any in the Arielle family of luxury resorts. We departed with welcome gifts that we will cherish forever. The only downside was having to compare our next hotels to La Bastide de Gordes!"
