"We had a terrific stay at Ken and Shona's rental. The house was full of character, very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen in a quiet and scenic neighbourhood. As cyclists, it was a great spot to launch a bike ride from with countless quiet backroads that were picturesque beyond belief. Echter in het dorp zelf is niet veel te doen (wel een supermarkt express en twee bakkers. In Orhez (10 min rijden) is er een grote supermarkt. Huis is armoedig ingericht en meubels verouderd (Bank beneden is echt helemaal doorgezeten en bedden zijn erg laag), er is geen airco of vin (wat met temperaturen rond 30 graden wel lekker is) ,...

We had a warm and generous welcome, enjoyed the practical, warm and comfortable accommodation and explored the locality. "We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated and unusual house. It was lovely to sit and look at the horses and cattle in the grounds and the bird life was excellent. We could have done with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, such as a chopping board, but most things were there. The hosts were very friendly."
