"Loys was there to greet us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed and during our stay he joined us in a glass of wine and talked to us about places to visit and gave us 2 excellent restaurant recommendations. The point to mention is the restricted use of the pool. It is mentioned in the small print at the bottom of the listing but we feel it should have been made more obvious. "We spent a really relaxing week in this away cosy cottage. The heated pool is fantastic – our first four days were very hot and it was brilliant to be able to use the pool to relax and cool off. The grounds around the cottage are mainly meadow with some wonderful old trees and also an abundance of buddleia bushes which attracted a wide variety of butterflies. We were welcomed with a gift of goats cheese from the creamery along the lane and some honey from Lucas's hives! Everything in the house...

"Unfortunately this is the worst Kyriad we have stayed in. It is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con wouldn’t work, and it was very warm in the room but unfortunately noisy with the window open, which we had to endure, no kettle, not enough towels. The rooms are very noisy, with I’m guessing, limited soundproofing. The hairdryer however was one of the best I have used in a hotel. The reception and breakfast areas are pleasant. Very limited menu in the restaurant. The staff were friendly."

"Stayed here for a few nights. The room was clean and the the staff were friendly and efficient. They kindly made Vegetarian meals especially as there was not much choice on the menu for Vegetarians. The non vegetarian menu changed daily and the quality of the food was good. "
