"Nous avons passé un excellent week-end à Pullay. Nous étions une troupe de théâtre composée de 17 personnes. Les grands espaces pratiques de la maison étaient parfaitement adaptés à la taille de notre groupe. Même si la météo n'était pas au rendez-vous, nous avons pu profiter de l'intérieur (fléchettes, table de ping pong...). Jean-Jacques fut très réactif et conciliant. We arrived on Saturday evening and were told that the hotel restaurant is not open at the weekend. This is not made clear on the booking page. However, there was a private booking for 80 people, on Saturday evening, so the restaurant was open, but no tables had been reserved for other guests. "This hotel is in an old priory near the summit of the hill with the magnificent Chartres Cathedral. Desk was helpful with parking info, and how to exit the restricted area before dawn, so we didn't have to tackle the steep hill after the snow started."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Residehome. After arriving quite late on a Friday night, we were completely drained from the road trip and a long work week. However, the gentleman at the reception greeted us warmly and was incredibly helpful, which gave us a small but much-needed boost of energy. I greatly appreciated the hotel’s design, which was simple, elegant, and practical. Despite being a corporate establishment, the staff managed to maintain a warm and personable demeanor, avoiding the rigidity or overly commercial feel often associated with such places. The room was good value for the price. The only drawback was the lack of electric window shades. As someone highly sensitive to light at night, I found it difficult to fall asleep. I ended up buying an eye mask for the second night, which helped. Overall, we loved our stay, especially considering the great off-season price we paid."

Castle nested in the forest of "Le Perche" region - lower Normandy

This castle in the woods is like a fairytale!

"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. Jerome was a dream and arranged for his wife to cook us two french meals, which we absolutely loved. The castle is pretty isolated, but we didn't mind that. And the grocery store we liked was only 15 or so minutes away. There were a lot of bugs in the castle, but they didn't bother us, and we've come to expect that when we stay in rural settings. My husband and our four kids absolutely loved it here and would HIGHLY recommend it!"
