"Apartment was central to our needs. modern and clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Only drawback was it was slightly noisy at the back of the hotel where our room was. "All of our guests for the Hen weekend made the weekend fun and the local cimmunity were really friendly. Unfortunately I had a few issues with the host, Chris. I had requested an early entry by 2 hours and in short was told yes for £50 payment as he had to arrange someone to be at the house. After a further 4 messages to Chris which were not answered I had to phone him and was reduced to tears by his hostility. He bumped up payment to £100 claiming I left it to last day to confirm this. "This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. "We were suppose to stay in the main building on Bath st. but the elevator was not working. I truly appreciate the availability of receptionist via online & transfered us to the corner building with elevator access. The apartment is clean & has kitchen amenities. "Overall the place was good. Kitchen is smaller than we thought and the dishwasher was hard to use. The panel on the front of the dishwasher was too long so you couldn't open it all the way to fill and empty properly. There was no extra hand soap in the bathrooms or bin bags in the kitchen which made cleaning a challenge.Location was fabulous and communication with the owner was great and easy. Overall nice place. Would stay again."

"I was a really great hotel. The rooms, whilst a little small were perfect. I had the best night sleep and considering it was next to a train station I heard nothing! The pillows were absolutely amazing too. The breakfast was cute, I loved that the eggs had been drawn on with little funny quips or faces. The bar area was great and we made use of that for tea and gin and whiskey! I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Check in was fantastic, however bar service is painfully slow, with bar staff serving people that have just arrived at the bar whilst I was stood for about 5 minutes. Woken up this morning (Sunday) at 650am to load music playing for about an hour too. Didn’t think that this hotel would allow that sort of thing to happen. "

A near perfect hotel

"Amazing room along with an amazing view from the balcony- room was clean with a fabulous shower! Room was really comfortable, easy to use heating system and the TV is certainly user friendly, even managed to get my Netflix on (normally this never works for me 😅) Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was unfortunately underwhelming, the continental options could be increased (more fruit options, banana's being very important, porridge would be good and more choice in bread rather than cheap white or brown) with a better breakfast choice I would say this hotel would be perfect! "
