"We came here a few years back only days after they reopened due to the fire. Then it was chaotic in the restaurants service struggled and it was an expensive mare of a weekend. This weekend we returned. The boathouse restaurant changed to La Vista. Superbly decorated and the food superb. Service on point. No noise reverberation and such a superb evening thank you to all the staff there that made it so good. 10/10 score. The Cameron grill at breakfast is a joy. Pleasant staff, buffet style...

"If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. Personally it was fine both price wise and comfort wise and for an overnight stay I would use again. "
