"Perla del Sole is a small, friendly B&B, though with a hotel-style reception, in the resort of Arenella, 8km from Syracuse. The hotel manager (who spoke excellent English) greeted us warmly and provided plenty of helpful information, such as maps, local restaurants, transport information, etc. The rooms were comfortable with all the essentials, including air conditioning (definitely needed at night, as it stays hot after sundown in Sicily) and free wi-fi, and were well cleaned daily. "Wonderful location. House very clean and comfortable. We were in Sicily in January and we preferred to spend a few days in Syracuse. Pleased to have chosen Villa Carmela also exploiting the beautiful space in the garden. Beautiful walks on the beach, we have also reached on foot. Every morning we had breakfast in the garden, since the weather was beautiful (luck in January !!). Thanks for the welcome, we hope peter have another chance in the future to come back to Syracuse."
