"Our stay at PuraPura was a dream come true. The unit felt brand new and had everything we needed, including a kitchen and rain shower. Air conditioning worked very well and there were no bugs. "The house we stayed in has beautiful woodwork and was spacious but also a bit treacherous with a stairway with no handrail and a step up part way into the living area. The beach is lovely and it was not touristy when we there (during heavy rainfall). Howler monkeys entertained us frequently. The maid did a very good job. "I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica.
