"Great location close to everything, clean, comfortable, and good service. We were kindly given a room upgrade & late checkout. Only small issues were: 1. a musty smell & 2.there was a giant shelf with a light in it above the bed instead of a headboard & I hit my head on it over 5 times. The room needs to be re-arranged or that shelf needs to go. Also, don't hide the second pair or pillows - we only found them on the second night. "

"Stayed at Motel Stawell for the Stawell Bluesfest. Nice little motel, friendly staff. Very clean, close to everything, comfy bed and good shower pressure. Only downside is the noise from the road, especially from big trucks. Take earplugs! "

"A clean and tidy motel with basic but adequate facilities. Good value. Convenient breakfast. A good spot to stop en route. 8 year old reports that his “bunk bed was squeaky but it had a playground and lots of space and needs more playground equipment” and gives 3/5. 6 year old reports it was “a little bit small” but gives 5/5. Wife felt “was like a school camp motel” but still 4/5. Overall, a good result!"

"Had a wonderful stay in a double deluxe. Manager showed me the standard double which was very nice and the deluxe which had some nice touches. Reading lamps and power points and usb chargers on the bedsides. A larger more modern bathroom. I will bring the family next time I head this way to see the Grampians. Can hike in the morning and relax in the pool in the afternoon. Traffic noise was less because it was a quiet weekend, but have to expect some noise at a place called HiWay :)"
