"Aix-en-provence is a lively and picture-esque city that has a very walkable downtown. The hotel was just the right distance from the touristy area to be quiet but still have great access to everything. The hotel is a little older and could use some new furniture, but is quite clean and in what seemed to be a very safe area. Overall I would say it was a fairly good value."

"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

"If you are looking for a get-away from it all, Meir’s beautiful home on Montjustin is your place! The town is tiny - just a few residents - and you need to drive to nearby Cereste or Reillane (or longer drive to Manosque) for supplies, but once you’re stocked up, this very French and roomy home with a pool, petanque, yard, and more is the perfect spot. We loved making it our home for a week and hope to come again. One word of caution: lots of steps and hard surfaces - fine for us but wondered...

"Magnifique! Pourquoi? Parce que par pure chance, tenant compte qu’il s’agit d’un choix du dernier moment, on s’est trouvé dans un endroit idéal pour nous. C’est vrai, on aime bien la nature, le calme et on ne cherche pas le luxe d’un hôtel 5*. On a trouvé tout ce qu’il fallait pour préparer nos repas. Un petit bémol pour le frigo, trop petit. "We stayed just one night and everything was perfect. The room was small but we did not mind that. Everything was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable. Our room opened onto an inner courtyard and was very quiet. We asked in advance about parking and were given good advice for secure, paid parking. The pedestrianised area of the old town is entered just across the street and there are lots of lovely places to eat, drink, shop and just have a wander. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Happy to recommend."
