"We had a great stay at Fenix West. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious w a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful Mountain View. We especially appreciate the shuttle services to and from town, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and easy to plan. "This is a great slope-side location. The hotel gives a 90's retro vibe. It's comfortable and as a single travel I felt very secure and taken care of. The room was large. The hallway was quiet and the mattresses and pillows soft (which isn't always the case in Japan.) It's a little isolated from the outside town, so when the restaurants on the top floor close later in the season, I felt the lack of dining options. The bakery is fantastic and so is the Ningle Terrace. "
