"We used the Hotel Venere as a bed and breakfast base to cycle around the Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano. Being out of the main holiday season the area was quite with only one restaurant open in Ascea - but this had the advantage that the roads were quite. The hotel is only a short distance from the railway station meaning that it was easy to transport bikes."

"Didn't know much about Pisciotta and arriving at La Casa sul Blu was an amazing pleasant surprise. It's an old mill, beautifully restored, charming with lots of history. The rooms have a beautiful view over the mountain, especially for the sunset. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and even made sure I got a vegan breakfast. "

"Nice staff, good pool, opportunity for kayaking and pedalo boats. Nice local area. The loud night time shows could be a problem (9 to 12pm), in this case get one of the huts further up the hill. The phone app is a good idea, but would be fantastic if it was also in other languages (not just Italian). "

"Il nostro breve soggiorno è stato abbastanza piacevole. La casetta in legno nella quale abbiamo alloggiato era carina ma gli spazi erano ridotti al minimo. Nulla di particolarmente scomodo ma qualche metro in più avrebbe reso il soggiorno impeccabile. Ottima la colazione con dolce e/o salato a comanda e non a buffet. "We enjoyed our stay in Ascea, a beautiful area with a stunning beach nearby! However, we were disappointed to find that the balcony view in the listing was not accurate. Additionally, we were not informed that essentials like toilet paper, sponge and daily necessities were not provided, which caused some inconvenience. We also experienced issues with the bathroom lock (got locked inside of the bathroom for 25mins) despite all our efforts to open from inside and outside, and the lack of air conditioning made it challenging to sleep during the hot summer nights, or during the day especially with young children. Despite these issues, Ascea is a lovely destination, and with some improvements, this place could be even more enjoyable for future guests"

Te apartments' are very comfortable and functional, the property is lovely with an amazing view on the valley and this pool is just a joy. Paolo is very friendly and loves his country and his town and e explains the history and the culture so well We will definitively come back as we had the most amazing holidays Greg - Gaby & Charlie "
