Located nearby the property is a shop and a pub if you didn’t fancy cooking for yourselves each evening. There is also a front garden where you can really take in the beautiful views this place has to offer.
Kingfisher Barn has a unique location, located on the end of a no through route, it is quiet and peaceful, the trail that loops Carsington Water passes through so you can easily hop on and complete the 8 mile track, if walking isn’t your style you can cycle or just take part in the many water activities the reservoir has available at the visitors centre. Nearby towns include Ashbourne and Matlock, both worth a visit with their own unique offerings, there is ample to do from this location and you will take joy in knowing you have a wonderful base such as Kingfisher Barn to return to come the end of your fun filled day.
