Property is is a beautiful mountain setting. We were greeted warmly and the process was smooth and swift.
Wish we would of had more time to spend thereâbeautiful country and they had many sitting spots to enjoy âvery hospitable and breakfast was amazing.
Roger and Sandy were amazing hosts. Excellent location and the property is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Was a very enjoyable and much needed relaxing stay. We will definitely consider the Ashe Farm if we are in the area again.
We had a wonderful time at Ashe Farm! Roger and his wonderful host. He showed us around the property and gave excellent restaurant recommendations for our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast could not be beat!
Roger and Sandy were great, and the breakfast was amazing. Roger was able to accommodate byzantine dietary restrictions and we were well-fed every morning.
Amazing find, lovely place, excellent food. Huge country breakfast, cooked to order was worth every penny - not to mention the homemade apple butter and scones that were scrumptious. We sat out by the creek and enjoyed our evening. Perfect place to stay if biking or hiking or anything in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Rogers and Sandy were wonderful. Cute and cozy. Only thing we werenât expecting was you cannot have food or drinks in your room except water. Otherwise everything was great!
The host was incredibly friendly, and very helpful in every way. I hit the breakfast jackpot with plenty of amazing dishes for my gluten free diet! The outdoor area was very serene - just what I needed after coming from downtown Asheville! Just be prepared for a steep (though short) winding road to the property (it felt much easier on the way out!) I would definitely return - thank you, Roger and Sandy!
Only drawback was lingering smell of wood fire. Not a problem for most

The room we stayed in had no air conditioning, only a fan. We tried to open windows but there were storm windows. The host was ok friendly. Breakfast was very good.
This little B&B was great for a girls weekend get away. They rent out 4 rooms in their home and We were the only ones in the house for the 2 nights we were there that weekend. Roger (the owner) was extremely accommodating and gave some great recommendations for dinner and site seeing. Breakfast was homecooked each morning also. We will definitely be back.
It was well taken care of, very clean, beautiful space. inside and out. We did not spend enough time there on property and I very much hope to go back.
The owner is very nice and communicated with us before arrival. We requested. Vegan breakfast and we got it, delicious oatmeal with add ons and good coffee. He also recommended places for us to have dinner in nearby Marshall, which turn out to be a nice little town with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options⊠great discovery for us!!! Impeccably clean bb, the only thing was that it was not clear from the website that we would not have a private bathroom. That was not the most comfortable thing, but we stayed one night only.
We enjoyed our stay at Ashe farm. The entire home was very clean and inviting. Lots of beautiful antiques. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. A beautiful secluded location and helpful host.
Roger was so pleasant and full of information about the area. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty. We wish we were spending more than one night. The property has so much to offer with all the little areas they've set up with only farm equipment and the creek running through it.
We stayed here for one night and had tonarrive late. Our host was very welcoming qhen we arrived, gave us a nice quick tour of our room and the amenities and was overall very gracious. The interior was beautiful with antiques everywhere and the outside in the mountains was lovely as well.
The hosts were very gracious and accommodating ... our room was tastefully decorated, comfortable & cozy, and most importantly impeccably clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning and especially liked having a separate complete kitchen for our use, as we elected to prepare our own food and not go out for dinner one night. The home is situated on a lovely property with several locations having chairs, rockers, garden swing for relaxation or to just sit and enjoy a glass of wine!
It's the perfect place for a weekend "getaway" in the beautiful NC mountains!!
Save your money . Definitely not worth the Google.
Youâd have more fun staying home and watching paint dry. Middle of nowhere with nothing. I mean nothing to do. Go visit your least favorite relative. It will be about as enjoyable as this âfarmâ

Nice property but terrible room
We booked the elite suite with 2 queen beds for one night and were quite disappointed with our stay. It should be called queen beds basement bedroom as it is basically the home's basement. Therefore we could hear the floors squeaking every time someone was walking upstairs. In the morning cigarette smoke was coming down through the vents. Also no TV, no closet, no thermostat to control the room temperature. We definitely expected better accommodations for the price we paid. The surrounding property is cute and well maintained, although smaller than expected.
