About this property

Cozy Tiny Home Steps Away From Mt. Rainier

Little Red is a cozy retreat filled with original photos, custom paintings, and mountain character. Established in 2022, this property was created with comfort in mind. Nestled amongst the trees, you will enjoy peace and relaxation. Sip your cup of coffee gazing at the mountains in the distance or watch the deer graze right outside. Skip the traffic and be in the park before crowds by driving 1.2 miles to the park entrance. Relax, unwind, adventure... welcome to the mountain!
The space
This cozy tiny home has a lot to offer in it's 600 sq. ft! Mountain views, ample storage, and charming character are just a few of the features included for your comfort. While the main living area is on one floor, you must navigate five steps to enter the home.

The 2nd bedroom is in a lofted area with 4' ceilings that is accessed by additional stairs. Please note that the railing from the loft to the main floor is lower than a conventional railing. This bedroom space is most suited to guests that can navigate the stairs, low ceiling, and safety precautions given the low railing.

While the home may be tiny, the property is expansive. Basque in the peaceful solitude of the nature all around you. Venture onto the patio for a nightly fire or outdoor game. Grill dinner on the provided propane grill and eat under the trees at the outdoor patio table.

Other things to note
We allow guests to bring up to two dogs that are 2+ years of age at time of stay. Pet fee is per dog($60). We are not able to host any other animals/pets. A $250 fee is assessed for unregistered dogs.
-Dogs must be 2+ years old at time of reservation to stay.
-Dogs are only allowed on hard surface areas of home (kitchen, family room).
-Dogs may not go into bedrooms or lofts.
-While we'd prefer for dogs not to be on the sofa, we do provide extra blankets and/or sofa covers that can be used if this is not possible for your dog.
-Dogs must be crated if left unattended.
-All excrement must be picked up outside.
-Dog hair should be removed from all surfaces prior to your departure.
-Dogs must be on a leash when in the neighborhood and may not wander onto the neighbor’s property.

Grill, patio furniture, and/or hammocks are available Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.

The hot tub chemicals are balanced twice a week. The tech is onsite for approximately 15 minutes. Hot tub use is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions or skin sensitivities. Please consult with your doctor prior to use if this applies to you.

Infants are counted within the max occupancy of our home and should be registered as children.

Mt Rainier Tiny Home
The location for visiting Mt Rainier could not have been better. The tiny home was a perfect amount of space for our family of 4. The grocery/shopping options are limited; we were able to find most things we needed at the Ashford General Store though. I suggest this home for a Mt Rainier getaway!

Beautiful cabin with great amenities
The cabin is super clean and well curated. The hot tub was a lovely addition. The location of the property is both convenient and inconvenient. If you only go into the park, the location is great. If you go into town you will wait at least an hour in a line of traffic to get back to your property regardless of the time of day.

Exactly as pictured!
We loved our stay at this tiny house! It’s so much bigger inside than it seems from the outside and was the perfect spot for us. We stayed for a nearby wedding, and most of the other guests stayed at a hotel/lodge— they were all envious that we were staying somewhere with such beautiful views and outdoor spaces. I spent so much time reading in the backyard and it was peaceful and relaxing. I also have to say that it felt very private and secluded, even though there were several nearby homes. I actually liked knowing that there were others nearby, but we still got the feel of it being remote. We didn’t get a chance to use many of the amenities like the hot tub, grill, fire pit, etc, but hopefully we can come back another time to utilize them. Even though the house looked quaint, it felt very updated inside with everything you could ever need. I’d 100% recommend this home and we hope to return with our toddler sometime!

Tiny House - Big Benefits
We spent four nights here while exploring Mount Ranier NP. It is conveniently located just a few miles from the park entrance - a big plus as we entered the park about five times. The small town is about 15 minutes away and offers a grocery store, general store (with perhaps more groceries than the grocer), post office, restaurant, Ukrainian cafe & bakery with a nice breakfast, pottery store, and museum. It rained for about 36 hours, so we spent one day mostly at the house, recuperating from hiking 10 miles daily for several days. The hot tub was inviting, even on a cold rainy day. The house may be tiny (especially the loft), but is comfortable and well stocked - grill, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, games, TV, DVDs & a comfy reclining sofa. We would gladly stay again.

We love this tiny home, especially my 3 year old. The loft was her little area where she loved to hang out. The fire pit and hammock were so nice to have which provided activities to do with the little ones outside. We visited Rainier all 3 days and would come back in the afternoon to rest and enjoy the tiny home. There are a handful options of restaurants nearby abd offers excellent dinner options. We also brought our own grocery to make breakfast and lunch, so we didn't have to buy every meal. The loft and downstairs bedroom worked out perfectly for our family of four. The only thing missing in the tiny home was a hair dryer but it's not a big deal.
