A property available for executive, corporate lets, extended families, getogethers and is unlike any other!

It's a large spacious residence on an elevated site with private stunning views of the sea and Mount Usher Gardens. Behind it is a forest. Great location, easy to access to Dublin City - by car or bus. A car is not necessary but it is useful and recommended.

The house suits a large group of people coming to Ireland for employment contracts or potentially relocating. Location is near motorway for easy access to work or tourist sites.
A special offer is available for corporate/executive stays (those for employment or relocating). New regulations in Ireland, implemented Jan 2023, limit the number of nights available for holiday makers in holiday homes. Please enquire with me to avail of the special offer, if you are staying for employment or potentially relocating.

The house is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to a selection of pubs and restaurants. Tinakilly house is a 4 star hotel and wedding venue also within 20 to 25 minutes walking distance. The house is also convenient for wedding guests of Trudder lodge wedding venue in Newcastle.

The house suits a family or even an extended family gathering/occasion.
Not suitable for parties for groups under the age of 25 years.

The views of the early morning sun rise is therapeutic. During the day there are views of the sea, Mount Usher Gardens with the colours of the trees that will take your breath away. You will see many shades of green from the trees and grass and by night you will see the lights of the village and neighbouring Rathnew and Wicklow Town. You will see the lights of light houses, boats/ships and fishing vessels.

There is a high speed fibre WiFi

The house accommodates 18 people and is complete with 5 large bright bedrooms. Travel cots, bed sides and high chair provided if

Lots of nice walks from the house.
This house is a short walk to the pubs (2 to 5 minutes) restaurants, grocery , cafes, pharmacy, local fruit, vegetables, honey and juice are also sold in Ashford. The local butcher has excellent meat and fresh fish is sold every Thursday in the village. Public transport is easily accessible within 10 to 15 minutes. Its also home to the famous Mount Usher Gardens. Avoca cafe is a special treat. Ashford is a luxurious part of wicklow. Its a desirable exclusive residential location on Dublin commuter belt. Wicklow town is 10 minutes in the car and has larger supermarkets which also deliver. Wicklow town is a coastal town, where you can go fishing, meet the local pet, sammy the seal or jump of the pier with the young locals. Wicklow town is a town with so many locals friendly welcoming people happy to have a chat.

This stunning house is located close to the motorway so its easy access from Dublin airport and all the ferry ports in Ireland. Its an ideal location to do many day trips. The rear garden is beside a wood. You can create your own track.

We hope you will relax in this beautiful location. This peaceful countryside setting will encourage you to go for a tranquil walk, a cycle or a 7km jog or run.

They are all within two hours from this ideal touring location. Dublin city and airport is within 40 minutes drive. Many of our guests have also done the cliffs of moher as a day trip.

We have lots of recommendations for places to eat, some are walking distance, some deliver food and some in Wicklow town, Greystones, Bray, Kilmacanogue and Laragh and even Dublin city.

Films
Ashford is obviously well known for the home of Ashford Studios recently filmed the Vikings. Wicklow has attracted many other well known films for the amazing sceneries, such as Braveheart, Exalibur, Veronica Guerin, PS I Love you and so many more.

Golf
This house is also close to many Golf courses, Wicklow, Glen mill, Druid glen, Powercourt, Brittas to name a few.

We hope you will always have fond memories of your stay in this house. Our aim is to ensure you have all the amenities that you need to enjoy your stay.

Its a new house to the holiday rental market in an exclusive area but yet walking distance to pubs, shops, restaurants, etc.

Christmas in the house is amazing. We decorate the house from mid November with plenty of Christmas decorations etc. The house is great for Christmas with with amazing lights, trees etc.

We can't welcome you enough and hope you will return many times to this idealic house.

Lovely big house
Stayed at this house as a large family group . The location is excellent for visiting Dublin and the house has a nice little pub within walking distance . The house is really big with loads of beds and plenty of seating space too for a large group . The children loved the garden with the football goals and basketball hoop and we spent a whole day there when we arrived.

Ashford House
The house is large and comfortable for families. It is up on a hill and the view is wonderful. Plenty of space for children to play. The kitchen could use some upgrades, however, as the chef knives are dull, even after an attempt to sharpen them. It could use some extra small appliances, like a food processor. We were disappointed that our request for one night full refund was denied after our personal plans changed. We did not see the “7-day requirement for July and August” in website. Only a small amount was offered as refund. But our time there was very pleasant and we will all have good memories of our stay.

Perfect Family Getaway Location - with perfect host
This home is just wonderful! The location gives fantastic views and a world of privacy and quiet but you are also in easy walking distance to Ashford center and the beautiful Mt. Usher Gardens and restaurant as well as all essentials. Wicklow, Greystones, Bray, Glendalough etc. are all short, picturesque drives away. Brittas Bay is an easily accessible, pretty, sandy beach - though there are lots of other options on the beach front. My family ranged in age from 1 to 82, with a 3 year old and 17 year old and everyone had a great time and found something for them. If you do have younger kids (under 7) the swings and slides and treehouse etc. are a source of excitement. The astroturf football pitch is great for all ages (maybe not 82) and the outside seating makes meal time in good weather really simply and a treat. I really don't think you'll have a better find for hosting families with active kids. Karen was great to communicate with and provided all sorts of guidance, recommendations, and equipment (high chair, cot, etc.) that made things easy and made me look good with family - which is never a bad thing. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are ALDI, Lidl, Tesco about 15 mins away and a big fridge/freezer and storage area so family meals are a good practical way to eat together. Washer and dryer also very helpful and four separate bathrooms is very nice. There's also a piano and great internet for multiple devices - we had some people that needed to do some work video calls, etc. Didn't use the TV or sauna but seemed great unexpected options. This was a once in a lifetime holiday for our family and Karen and this home were central to truly special memories for us.

Karen was extremely helpful and accommodating for our stay. On asking for an earlier check in she went out of her way to accommodate this. Wonderful
We had a great time!! The view was fantastic!! From the front patio you can see the mountains and Irish Sea on a clear day. The sunrises are absolutely beautiful. The house was clean and greta for a large group, plenty of room. Karen was very helpful. The town of Ashford is a nice little town, with great food and drink. However, if you are going to stay in Ashford, Wicklow be sure you are renting a vehile, if you want to do anything outside of Ashford. It is very hilly and difficult if you are not in at least average to very good condition. Dublin is about 50 min utes away, easy to get to on the motorway. There is a bus that goes from Ashford to Dublin but it is not easy to understand the time table and prices. If you have a large group more than 3, a taxi is hard to get and very expensive. We had a wonderful time thank you Karen and we would definitely stay again!!! Patty

very positive experience
Before the start our holiday there were so many questions we had about the house and the location. The communication with the house owner was fantastic - so lovely and was so patient with all of our enquiries. She let us come and check in earlier which suited us perfectly, was so lovely while giving the tour and during the stay she regularly text to check in with making sure the home was okay and if we needed anything. I would rate it 5/5 for the customer service we received. With the house - everything was flawless. The land was amazing, a gorgeous garden and living space. Perfect wifi and service around the house as-well as perfect working utensils. All around a lovely house, comfortable beds, sofas etc and it’s only a short walk down to the village. - a really great stay. really recommend.
