Ashton Bear-a-dise. Spacious retreat close to fishing, hiking, National Parks

This Amazing 4500 square foot, 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin is in a private location and offers everything you'll need for an amazing stay. Bear-a-dise features a spacious great room with floor to ceiling windows, game room, TV room, covered porch, and large patio. From this location you'll be able to take outings to Yellowstone NP, Grand Teton NP, Jackson Wyoming, and fish on the world famous Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. This cabin sleeps 14 adults comfortably with a maximum of 20 guests.

Located in a quiet, secluded location among a grove of aspen trees, this traditional log cabin will be your home away from home. Enjoy playing ping pong, foosball, and basketball hoops game in the game room, or enjoy the downstairs media room with large Smart TV, DVD player with DVD’s, board games and comfortable seating for your family and friends to spend some quality time together. Everywhere you look you'll see rustic touches - right down to the light switches, outlet covers, antler accents on closest doors, knotty pine paneling, and split log counter tops in the kitchen.

In the primary bedroom on the main floor there's a king bed, smart TV, and ceiling fan. In the en-suite bathroom enjoy the whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. Upstairs find three more  bedrooms to choose from with combinations of king, queen and twin beds. Bedroom 4 is in the converted upstairs loft named the Harry Potter Bedroom (there is no AC/heating vent but a portable heater or fan is available). In the basement are two more bedrooms, each having a queen bed and a bunk bed, one is twin over full while the other is a twin over queen. There are also three more full bathrooms, two of which have walk in showers, while the third has a rustic hammered copper tub with extendable faucet.

The rustic, yet modern, kitchen offers all the basic amenities needed during your stay, including basic kitchen utensils, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and much more. Enjoy eating meals together cooked on the gas range, served at the dining table that seats eight in the eat-in kitchen. Three more spaces are available at the kitchen Island, as well as three more places to eat at the bar across from the dining table. Step out on the dining area deck to grill a meal on the gas BBQ with a patio table and chairs. Enjoy the serenity of the mountains on the large outdoor patio with a gazebo.

Bringing little ones? There's a high chair and pack-n-play available. Whatever the season you will be comfortable with the cabin's central heating and A/C, plus portable fans if needed. If you need to do laundry, there's a washer and dryer as well as iron and ironing board.

Great fishing can be found on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, which is only a 5 minute drive away. Looking to explore some beautiful places nearby? Be sure to check out Mesa Falls, Cave Falls, and St. Anthony Sand Dunes. For great day trips you'll want to visit Yellowstone, Grand Teton, or Jackson, Wyoming. At the nearby Forest Service land you can bike, hike, and take your snowmobile or ATV's out for an outdoor adventure.

For your safety, there's a fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors.  Please note there are exterior cameras and ring doorbells for security purposes.

Family stay
We celebrated our young Italian friends birthday in this week along with much hiking and games. The entertainment at the home provided us with double elimination Olympic events which were spectacular. We also had Harry Potter Minute to Win It games we brought and had divided our group into two houses, made wands and watched the movie. All so comfortable!! Highly recommend staying and don't be afraid to get up early to go to either the Tetons or Yellowstone. Note-the road is quite bumpy for some distance so if you have anyone with stomach issues (we did), this can be wearing on them - but we were also driving a truck. I heard SUV and car were much better.

Bear-a-Dice
An amazing stay at an amazing location with amazing views. We booked this property for a family reunion. We had plenty of space and room to spread out. The property had everything we needed to prepare several group meals. Great directions to the property and easy to follow instructions to enter as well. Great communication with Ginger who kept in touch and answered several questions prior to booking. This property went far beyond our expectations! So many amazing things to do and see in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

A Beautiful Week in Bear-a-dise!
We had the best week in the Ashton Bear-a-dise with three generations of our family. We played yard games, grilled delicious food, went to Mesa Falls, Yellowstone (only an hour away) and rode our bikes on the Ashton to Tetonia bike trail. It was all wonderful and the Bear-a-dise was the perfect home base for a perfect week. The house is not only fascinating and beautiful, but it is stocked with everything we wanted. We needed another week to do all the things we wanted to do! Thank you, Ginger, for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Fabulous stay
Wonderful cabin nestled in a remote area making the stay very peaceful. Ginger was a fabulous host answering our many questions about the region. The house is perfect for large groups with lots of amenities to keep kids entertained. Upper floor of the house does get very warm during the day and AC unit has trouble keeping up thanks to the unusually hot summer the region is having, but there are lots of fans available to try and help with that issue. That was the only problem we ran into during our stay. Would absolutely stay there again!

What an amazing place and great owners!
This property was an A+, we had absolutely no issues. The communication was terrific and the cabin was just as we imagined. There were some extra kitchen items that we were able to use, plenty of sleeping space, a grill out back, being able to do laundry was a nice perk also. Cabin was close to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, everything we wanted to do was within driving distance. We went to Mesa Falls and were pleasantly surprised. The couple miles of gravel road driving to house was interesting but we made it work. Everything was wonderful and we would recommend this cabin to anyone, so much fun, thank you!!!

A Perfect Getaway for a Large Family
What a wonderfully lovely time we had!! That kitchen is amazing. We were able to cook food for our group of 20 without any problems. The beds were comfortable and walls thick enough that little people could go to bed early without being disturbed by others in the house. We also had plenty of hot water at bath times. The games in the basement were also lots of fun for the kids. We loved Ashton and felt it was the perfect distance to all the fun things. We had lots of fun on our excursions to Island Park and Yellowstone. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. We also appreciate that you answered all of our questions so quickly. Everything was so perfect. Everyone in our party agreed they would happily stay at Bear-a-dise again.

Beautiful, comfortable cabin
The cabin was beautiful with many amenities adding to our comfort. It was fully stocked with many games and activities for us to enjoy. The beds where comfortable and we had more than enough space for our party of 17. If I had one recommendation it would be that there would be more than one outdoor trash receptacle. When you have 17 people staying in a house for 4 nights you will end up with more trash than the bin fits.

Family Reunion
We had 10 adults and 7 children 1 to 8 years old. We enjoyed the Henry’s Fork River on kayaks, Mesa Falls, and Harriman State Park… Easy hiking, mountain biking and horse back riding. We also enjoyed the Ashton City Park. The property had everything we needed including a mother moose with her two calves! This is a beautiful secluded property and location. We would love to come back!

A beautiful home to accommodate a very large group/family. Adding more mirror's for the women to get ready would be great. 😉 other than that, it's a great location near the highway. We had a great time. Kids loved the game room. Ginger was awesome for questions we had and responded quickly. 😊
