ENGLISH (see Danish version above):
Brick-House is from 1908 and refurbished in 2010 in the original style (new windows, new wooden floors in 3 rooms, new bathroom with floor heating).
There is one bedroom for children (sleeps two children and two adults) and one master bedroom for two adults. Both bedrooms has electricheating, wooden floors and white-washed walls. There is also a fireplace in cast iron, that works well (in the living room). In 2020 an electric heatpump was installed, so it is possible to stay there during winter. Internet included. No television.
The bathroom is in white tiles with floor heating and washing machine.
The kitchen is original and simple, with (icecold) stonefloors and well-functioning gas-stove and refrigerator (without freezer). Dishwasher is installed. All cupboards are on wheels so that you can role them out and wash the stonefloor underneath. There is a door leading directly from the kitchen to a stone paved terrasse with a table and six chairs.
The livingroom has a firestove( for wood), a sofa, dinning-table (sits 6) glass-doors to the garden.
BEACHES:
By car you are at an amazing beach next to a beautiful forest (Fanefjord skoven) in 5 minutes. Walking it will take you 35 minutes. By bicycle 15 minutes. We use this beach in the morning and until around 3 pm. After that we go to another beach which is 10 minutes driving - it has beautiful sunsets! (Hårbølle Strand).
You can also stay in the garden: The house has 1000m2 garden with old trees and 15 year old fruit trees.
Our favorite afternoon excursions: see some of the many ancient stonecircles in the landscape,. Or go to Stege and have a coffee in a trendy cafe. Or go to Liselund, which is 18th century estate in the Rosseau-style - wonderfully picturesque, feed the peacocks. See one of the main tourist attractions in Denmark: the white clifs of Møn (Møns Klint).
If you like bicycling or trekking there are a multitude of scenic and well-maintained tracks through out Møn.
In summer there is no better spot than our cottage at Vindebaekvej- but if it rains for many days you could go Copenhagen (Capital of Denmark), which is 1hour15minutes driving - see some of the many museums, Nyhavn and Tivoli. Shopping in Copenhagen: sale during July and August if you like shopping.
