"Lovely location and the staff were also very friendly and positive. The three biggest drawbacks were that the pool was quite dirty, with a large number of bugs on the bottom, and the setup around the pool was scaled down from the pictures on the site, the breakfast was quite limited (fresh croissants on one of 3 days) and the wifi wouldn't work in our room, we had to go outside to use it. "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!:) Lovely staff ...friendliest bunch... amazing room...amazing food... and the property (so large) is out of a fairy tale!!! It is way up on a hill, but u take a taxi and you are in downtown/center within 10 minutes or so!!! a very very very relaxing place to be!!! Love, Chris and Rob from Chicago"

"Quiet, peaceful, clean room and especially the owner Rino, who was so welcoming when we arrived and made us tea."

"Quiet room. Reservation was for 2 people but specifically requested a queen bed and a twin bed. When arrived was told it was for 2 people and one queen bed. Had to show my confirmation of reservation and then was asked to pay 20 euro more. Not sure if this is Expedia's miscommunication or a misunderstanding of host."

"This is a beautiful apartment and property! The views will knock you out and the place feels so beautifully historic with a gorgeous glamorous rustic design. We loved the animals that the owner had and even let them in for a visit. Someone else mentioned to bring slippers because the floor is cold and I didn't remember but do bring slippers. - It is a little bit of a drive to the town of Assisi but WOW! what a beautiful drive..In any case, we couldn't have enjoyed the place more, we hope to...
