"We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. "Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold."

"To be honest, the reception was great, the room generally clean and tidy, although the sheet on the double bed didn't fit and only just covered the top of the mattress. We had dinner in the bistro, as we had a dog with us. He was welcome to stay with us, but we could only eat in the bar area.
