"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"The property was even better than expected, very spacious and well appointed kitchen, and the views spectacular! The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. The heated pool was brilliant and compensated for the cooler misty air - this improved by mid afternoon and we enjoyed a couple of splendid sunsets. "

"We enjoyed our stay here - although parking was a huge challenge. The unit came as advertised and was in a great location. We did a self check in, so no need to connect directly with the property manager. However she was a bit slow to respond on check in day when we needed assistance with the wifi. And the only info we could find in the unit was in Portuguese. "

"This property is huge and is in an excellent location for exploring this region of Portugal. The views from this villa are just breathtaking and you would never get tired of them. A car is a must as it is located at the edge of a quiet hilltop village but there is lots to see and do within short driving distance in any direction. "Place was nice, had dark shutter/blinds. Large kitchen with 2 bathrooms. Had a washer and a nice outdoor deck. Had a dishwasher and kitchen utensils. There was AC unit though we didn't use much.
