"The neighborhood was not what was expected based on location. However, the inside of the property was very clean and the back porch view of the lake was beautiful. Laura the owner even stopped by to bring soap and chat."

"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We really enjoyed staying in the house. Its an adorable little cottage that had everything we needed to unwind and relax. The hot tub was great in the evenings, the kayaks were fun during the day. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the water level was very low. But obviously that is not something the owners can control. It just made it a little difficult to get down to the kayaks, but other than that it was a perfect place to stay."

"We were looking for a house for our family of 6 (my kids are ages 13 to 19) that would set us up to do the trade days as well as other things that east Texas offers. This house was the perfect place for us. Not only were we close to lots of restaurants and things to do, the house itself was great. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the house was the beautiful view of the lake. The back wall of the house is full of windows overlooking the docks and Callendar Lake. We loved it....

"The 9 of us had a fabulous stay! The owners/host thought of everything! We couldn't have asked for a place that fit our needs any better than this gorgeous home! The sitting was within about 15 minutes of First Monday, the trees were so peaceful! There were so many amenities that we didn't even have time to take advantage of! We all said we want to come back so we can enjoy this amazing home again!"
