"In few words: Exceptional staff managing an exceptional hotel. In more words: Customer service fit for a 7 star hotel on par with dubai's finest, from the check-in, manager and Director, i was shocked to find this in Romania where customer service is more on the lacking part. The hotel itself is a 5 star hotel. "

"I loved this hotel! It is beautifully decorated and the rooms itself are so pretty. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful with anything you need. The breakfast that’s included is delicious as well and give you different options each day. The have a nice rooftop that has a great view over Braşov and I recommend grabbing a drink from their bar and go to the roof. The location of this hotel is in the perfect spot. It’s easy to walk to several restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. The only complaint I would have is the walls are a little thin so if you get a loud neighbor, you can hear everything. But, once we told the front desk, they told them to be quiet, which we really appreciated and were able to get a good nights sleep. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m in Braşov. This hotel was great, and you won’t be disappointed. "

"Adding a couple days on the front of a Viking cruise, we spent a couple of days in Brasov. We prefer to stay close to downtown. I found Rossmarkt Haus on a popular hotel website. As is typically the case, finding a place to park can be quite difficult, so splurge for the optional private parking which is ~100 meters from the building, which also houses a restaurant. There are no elevators so you’ll be carrying your bags up one or two flights of stairs. We stayed in room #1, which had a big living room, separate bedroom, and a large bathroom. Wooden floors and windows overlooking the street, the living space was very comfortable. A mini-split unit covered the HVAC needs nicely. Breakfast is included, and is a choice between a hotel buffet across the street, or a la carte from the restaurant downstairs. We preferred the buffet. All-in-all, a very enjoyable stay, and one that we’d recommend if you’re going to be in Brasov. See my other reviews (Ograda and Cucinino) for places to dine. Recommended"
