"We had a little family get-together of 6 at the cabin in late March and it was perfect. It is well-stocked- kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms- had all we needed and very comfortable. And we couldn't get enough of the campfire right out front, with the perfect view overlooking the pond and the forest. And the surrounding land for hiking and exploring were ideal: we loved adventuring in the woods, enjoying the creek, and hiking out to the lake. "Our experience exceeded my expectations. We chose the location for a family gathering for my mom and her two remaining siblings who are all in their eighties. The purpose of our stay was to relax and share childhood memories. The cabin was very cute and clean. In my opinion, it was nicer than the pictures. The view from the boat dock was definitely worth the hike - it was a great place to relax. There were no steps into the cabin which made it very accommodating for my relatives with challenges...
