This apartment was right next to the Morningside train station so it was super easy to get around. Our little porch overlooked the station but we never were disturbed by the sound of the trains. Maybe that's because the bedroom was at the other end of the apartment. Also, all the essentials were great: the bed and pillows were comfy, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the washer/dryer were easy to use. The locked access door made it feel super secure and we always felt safe. Across the street were 3 restaurants, one of which is our favorite breakfast place ("Crave") so far on this trip. And the brew pub a couple doors up was also quite nice. A block away is an excellent Indian restaurant (Tiffin) which we highly recommend.
Anne is a terrific host and always quickly responded to our questions. She calls the apartment "cosy" and it is small though we never felt too cramped. But the sofa and carpet are pretty old and worn. It didn't bother us and for the price we felt it was more than ample.
