"Der Heiderhof is a very classy hotel. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and a very helpful staff. The spa and work-out room were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There is not much to do in the immediate area but it is only 10 minutes to the city center and perhaps 20 minutes to all the outdoor activities of the AltMuhl nature preserve. My one disappointment was the bed. It was very hard, the pillow too flat, and the comforter too thick for a summer evening. I did not sleep well...

Das Zimmer war ok, leider doch es im Bad nach altem Rauch. Direkt nach unserer Abfahrt kam dann eine Mail mit einer Rechnung, die wir innerhalb von sieben Tagen zahlen sollten. Was im Urlaub natürlich schwierig ist."

"The hotel was conveniently located. It was clean and comfort was ok. The staff were great. I had a few issues, I did expect better quality, I got a kingsize bed with 1x queen sized duvet and the pillows weren’t very comfortable. Lighting was difficult to figure out, there are too many light switches. I won’t stay again based on the price, I could have stayed somewhere better. "

The evening food in the hotel is limited to pizza and a cheese platter board, which are very nice. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and modern, with great bathrooms. However, the TV has no English channels."

"We rented two rooms for the same price. We were told they were both beautiful. They were both nice, but one was spacious with a beautiful view, the other small and under the roof with a small window and not much of a view. That was disappointing. Other than that, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We did enjoy our stay and would stay there again. "
