The Lotterhof, which is a listed building, was built by the master builder of Augustusburg Castle, Hieronymus Lotter, as a builders’ hut for the construction of Augustusburg Castle. The small separate vacation home “Gartenhaus” stands on the edge of a park-like garden. It houses two vacation apartments, which can also be used separately. The vacation apartment on the ground floor has 3 beds in 2 bedrooms and is barrier-free.
The quiet, yet central location of the Lotterhof in the immediate vicinity of the town church, Augustusburg Castle and the forest invites you to relax, explore and hike. It is also a great base for excursions into the beautiful Ore Mountains landscape and the Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří mining region, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2019. The culturally and historically significant towns of Annaberg and Freiberg, as well as Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig, can easily be visited on day trips.
