"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."

"The house was perfect for a large group, we ate most of our meals in the outdoor area which was sheltered from the sun and we could watch the kids in the pool. The house was well equipped and clean. It was great having the outdoor cooking area which had a fridge and dishwasher. There isn’t anything in the village but activities are close by so it’s not a problem. I would recommend for large groups."

"Our family of 4 loved this stay. Traveling with 2 teenagers; it can sometimes be difficult to find the space everyone wants. This house was perfect for us and our needs. "Comfortable clean quiet apartment in converted old farm building. Very fast wifi. Covered parking for car and bikes below apartment. Helpful friendly owner doesn't speak english. Rustic village with good supermarket next to pretty river Yonne, Excellent tarmac cycle path along nearby canal du Nivernais. Lots of wine tasting. Recommend visiting Noyers, Auxerre, Vezelay. Only negative is the outside of the apartment, which is not pretty and has no view. Turin Shroud!!!!ne. "

"We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."
