"This property is not what anyone would expect. We arrived at 8:45 pm, no other people were there, the lady on phone who said her name was kamle told me they were upgrading our suite. Our suite wss in a shed, fire place was electric portable model with no remote to turn it on. The tv was hooked to a satellite reciever that didn't work, had error message 775 to go on internet. "The Owls Nest was a wonderful cozy cottage with every imaginable amenity! The hosts were perfectly attentive, with offer of assistance during some wintery weather. "A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. We will return."

"Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic.
